No Conformity Co – Next Gen Gear
Take a product designer with a knack for seeing ways to improve on products, put that brain in the body of a lifter, and shove that lifter in their garage. This is how you get NoCo – No Conformity Co. Their product offerings are fairly limited… belts, straps, wraps, and their arm trainer. But a streamlined product offering means they can put every last drop of effort into what they do offer.
Not Good Enough
No Conformity Co thrives on the concept that good, isn’t good enough. The NoCo Belt, well in their own words “The NoCo Belt exists at the intersection of utility and self-expression to help you perform at your best and to bring out your inner beast – The champ is here!”.
I just received my own No Conformity Co belt. I own an old economy powerlifting belt, a Pioneer PAL Belt, a Breath Belt, and a custom Pioneer Prong Belt for my wife.
What did I want with the NoCo belt? Well I dabble in some strongman efforts. The biggest struggle with moving events and stuff like log cleans, is that a traditional powerlifting belt is too big. It digs into you, gets in the way, and doesn’t allow enough breathing and moving.
The NoCo belt was my hopeful solution to this. I’ve so far used it once and it was SPOT ON. Just enough support, but not in the way. Keep in mind, this is NOT a powerlifting belt. Powerlifting belts are again, bigger, bulkier, thicker, and gnarly. This would be good for crossfit, bodybuilding, strongman, or simply just wearing around the gym throughout your workout.

No Conformity Co Arm Trainer
Looking at items like the biceps bomber that has been around since Arnold taught us all how to get pumped up. It really hasn’t seen any improvements or changes in design to date. No Conformity Co slapped that nonsense upside the head and dropped their Arm Trainer. Biceps Bomber, Preacher Curl, and Incline Curl options all in one simple device with a TON of finer details to make it meet their standards.
