The Garage Gym Competition Is Coming Back For 2026!

Whether you lift in a garage, basement, bedroom, or shed… or even a commercial gym, this is the Virtual Powerlifting Meet FOR YOU. The GGC welcomes all lifters big and small, from the US and around the globe, kids and grandmas, professionals and beginners… if you can Squat, Bench, and Deadlift, you are in!

Over 5,000 athletes across the world have joined in since 2018. And we’ve given away more than $130,000 in prizes and donated over $13,000 to charities.

Your admission is free… you just need to lift!

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN THE 2026 GARAGE GYM COMPETITION?

During the week of the Spring or Fall events

  1. Perform a 1 rep max Squat, Bench, and Deadlift
  2. Record those lifts
  3. Upload to Social Media and use appropriate hashtag
  4. Complete the Submission Form (available the week of the competition)

Following the above will successfully enter you into the competition. No registration fees, no tickets, no gimmicks. Just liftin, lovin, and laughin… or something like that.

Host A Local Meet

Got a group of local lifters, buddies, family, or neighbors? Get them to your place and we’ll help you have the BEST time you’ve ever had lifting weights… guaranteed!

What To Expect

Kicking off on October 25th, you’ll see hundreds of lifters across the globe put forward their best 1 Rep Max Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. These lifts will let them join the ranks of the 5,000+ athletes that have competed in the GGC so far… and get them a shot at all of our prizes. Submissions will come in through YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Reddit… from first timers and repeat competitors.

We’ll spend the next several weeks handing out awards, prizes, and sharing results before we deload and dabble in a MiniGGC for the Winter.

If you aren’t sure if you fit in, check out some of our athletes and their stories.
