The Garage Gym Competition Is Back For Year 8!

Whether you lift in a garage, basement, bedroom, or shed… or even a commercial gym, this is the Virtual Powerlifting Meet FOR YOU. The GGC welcomes all lifters big and small, from the US and around the globe, kids and grandmas, professionals and beginners… if you can Squat, Bench, and Deadlift, you are in!

Over 5,000 athletes across the world have joined in since 2018. And we’ve given away more than $130,000 in prizes and donated over $13,000 to charities.

Your admission is free… you just need to lift!

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN THE 2025 SPRING GARAGE GYM COMPETITION?

During the week of May 10th to May 18th, 2025

  1. Perform a 1 rep max Squat, Bench, and Deadlift
  2. Record those lifts
  3. Upload to Social Media and use #25SpringGGC
  4. Complete the Submission Form (available the week of the competition)

Following the above will successfully enter you into the competition. No registration fees, no tickets, no gimmicks. Just liftin, lovin, and laughin… or something like that.

If you are interested in being part of the Live Stream, let me know!

Spring Non-Profit

We have donated over $8k to Special Olympics since 2018, and we are back to cross that $10k mark in the Spring. Will you help? All you have to do is lift, and we’ll handle the rest.

Host A Local Meet

Got a group of local lifters, buddies, family, or neighbors? Get them to your place and we’ll help you have the BEST time you’ve ever had lifting weights… guaranteed!

What To Expect

Kicking off on May 10th, you’ll see hundreds of lifters across the globe put forward their best 1 Rep Max Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. These lifts will let them join the ranks of the 5,000+ athletes that have competed in the GGC so far… and get them a shot at all of our prizes. Submissions will come in through YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Reddit… from first timers and repeat competitors.

We’ll spend the next several weeks handing out awards, prizes, and sharing results before we deload, hit up HomeGymCon, and then come back ready to rock for our next event… the 2025 Fall Garage Gym Competition (more on that in July).

If you aren’t sure if you fit in, check out some of our athletes and their stories.
