The ONLY Roller Monolifts on the Market
The Snap-Back Rollers are something I haven’t seen from any other manufacturer yet, a combination roller j-cup and monolift attachment for your rack. Made to the same high-end standard of the UDA, these bad boys will come with custom color powder coat alongside stainless steel hardware and all the fixings.
You’ll notice that the Snap-Back Rollers don’t have that same counterweight hockey stick functionality that we see on every other monolift attachment. That is one part aesthetic and one part function. The rollers create a unique demand for the traditional counterweight that makes it less than ideal. Limiting the hockey stick look creates a nice clean visual aesthetic. The bar SNAPS BACK into the housing. This is due to the spring loading.
This allows a swing range of ~0-5.5” and limitless release points within that range. The springs also don’t need to wait for gravity to accelerate a counterweight, which means much faster clearance speed of the catch. The springs prevent bouncing of the catch after the swing phase as well.
The rollers pop and lock in place like any regular J-Cup, alongside Mutant Metals’ new locking pin design for added security. And since the spring pulls the mono into itself, you don’t have the swinging arms to battle with as you adjust the monos up and down the rack. This means quick and easy (and finger safe) adjustments for all your movements. And of course the rollers are made from a VERY high-density plastic, so your bar, rack, and monos are safe from any wear and tear. They even made a slick adjustment so they can lock to use them as a more traditional J-Cup. Seriously well thought out design at every turn.
The Snap-Back Rollers are locked and loaded for your next PR!
Why Roller Monolifts?
If you are reading this and thinking “what’s the deal with Roller Monolifts?” The rollers are common place in powerlifting equipment such as full Monolifts and Combo Racks, as it allows a heavily loaded bar to be perfectly centered in the rack for an ideal lift off every time. And since we know the key to a successful lift is how you start, this concept is often heavily sought after for lifters looking to push the weight. Until now, rollers have only existed on J-Cup designs for power racks, but for those who enjoy a monolift for squats and bench, they were left to make a decision between the two options. No more, as Mutant Metals solved the problem and has the solution ready for the home gym community!
