2023 Spring Garage Gym Competition
2023 brought back JuggernautAI as our Presenting Sponsor who helped us with a ton of awesome tips, tricks, and more, especially for the GGC Newsletter crowd. We had new comers like American Barbell join our squad, with repeat offenders like Prime Fitness, Crandall Fitness, and Strength Warehouse USA show up with some BONKERS prizes. We had 19 GGC Local Meets in the Spring with the help of Garage Gym Experiment as our local meet sponsor. And we donated over $1000 to Special Olympics in the Spring. We brought back our coaches and judges to provide some helpful feedback, and we kicked off our FIRST GGC Live Stream with Average Joes on Twitch! Top Athletes
Congrats to our Top Athletes!
These are the top 3 in each class, based purely on total (not using anything else). They will receive awards from Weight It Out. These must have been completed in a home based gym to qualify for Top Athlete (commercial gym lifters can enter, but I gotta filter top athletes based on our primary objective).
Most Improved had a LOT of filtering based on returning from injury, tossing in token lifts, etc. Basically, I worked hard to try and find people who had made legit PROGRESS from Spring 2022 to Spring 2023.
