Why You Should Buy The GOAT Instead of Jammer Arms
Jammer Arms are an interesting piece of gym equipment. A ton of people own them, and never use them. It is a running joke over on Reddit r/HomeGym enough that we debated making a shirt with Jammer Arms that were covered in cobwebs that said “$800 well spent”. You do have people who absolutely love them, but admit that the set up time and amount of creativity to really get the most from Jammer Arms is often high. In comes StrayDog Strength, ever the innovator in the rack attachment space, with the GOAT to solve the problem.
Small Jammers Arms?
If you are like me, at first glance you see a small Jammer Arm. Good for options like setting up a potential leg curl or leg extension, maybe some rows and other variations here and there. But what you didn’t see was that the real star of the show was the housing that has customizable starting position pins. This allows you to set up a bench and knock out overhead press, Flat/Incline/Decline Bench, chest supported rows, toss a pad on it and do barbell supported rows, add a step plate and do step ups at different angles and heights, standing leg curls, lying leg curls, GHDs, and the list goes on. One of the biggest issues with Jammer Arms, was having to get insanely creative with the set up to modify starting positions. NO MORE! The GOAT solved that. Seriously, these things are a powerhouse of possibilities for your rack.
Cost
These run $350 a piece, so you’ll need two. Because they are fairly small and easy to move, they work well with a magnet hitch pin to move up and down the rack as needed. $700 plus shipping and tax is a solid $400+ less than the Rogue Monster LT-1 50 CAL Trolley 2.0 & Lever Arm Kit. Since StrayDog’s equipment fits on any 3×3 rack (5/8″ or 1″), you are good to go. Add in that StrayDog is American Made, small manufacturing… and you get a lot of wins in this purchase.
Both Kurt and Coach Carp have been digging their GOATs as well.
You can use the code GGC10 to save 10% on your GOAT order, making a great price an even better one. If you are interested in these, they are selling out FAST. They literally can’t keep them in stock, so you may need to place a back order to get in line.
I’m a big fan of the Jammer Arm concept, but have always felt they were too expensive and too cumbersome. I’m glad we have Stray Dog Strength out here solving problems and producing cool equipment at solid prices.
