Garage Gym Lab – Reviews, Advice, Inspiration
If you lift at home and aren’t aware of Garage Gym Lab, let me welcome you to the internet. Second, lets cover Adam’s resume. He has built one of the cleanest and highest end garage gyms on the planet. I’m not talking those gyms that have EVERY toy imaginable. I’m talking a gym filled with ONLY high quality stuff that gets used regularly in his space. He has built an Instagram following over 100k, has reviewed more than a dozen bars, racks, machines, and more.
History of Garage Gym Lab
Adam and I started oddly the same. He first began thinking he was going to write and create a website about Excel. I started writing about Instructional Design. We both pivoted to Home Gyms in 2017 and began writing about gym equipment, doing product reviews, and more. Adam had started Garage Gym Lab with the idea of it being a business, where I had no intentions of the sort (I’m a dumby). Adam grew his following through detailed and well written product reviews, articles, and insights for the home gym audience. Whether you are looking for wraps and straps or a new rack, Adam has an idea for you.
Along the way Adam dabbled in YouTube, which he keeps telling us he is coming back for. He began a newsletter. And like most of us, has fallen back to the things he does really well.
What Is Adam Doing Today?
Adam is an absolute breath of fresh air in the home gym review game. There are a lot of people who can put out a good review or two here and there, but Adam is one of the very few who can do it consistently for years. He doesn’t touch every product known to man, but his experience with a wide set of equipment, nick nacks, accessories, and more certainly puts him in the upper tiers of knowledge and experience. His reviews and write ups are comprehensive, well formatted, easy to read and digest, and some of the best stuff out there for those who truly want to be informed, not just entertained.
Adam has a family alongside his full time job of running Garage Gym Lab, plus his personal lifting endeavors. I’ll say it short and sweet, if Adam and Garage Gym Lab isn’t at the top of your list for informative reviews on home gym equipment, you are doing something wrong. And remember, I have an entire website dedicated to doing my own reviews!
Garage Gym Lab and the Garage Gym Competition
Adam was part of the previous GGC Council, as he has been a part of the Garage Gym Competition since the concept was created in my head. When I first created the idea, it was a no brainer to work with Adam. Adam did a lot in the early years to help secure some big sponsors and promote the competition. His goal has been and continues to be, to grow the home gym community.
For the 2023 GGC, Adam is returning as a sponsor and tossing up three of his Reserved For Lifting banners.
You should be following Adam everywhere… website, Instagram, and YouTube.
